ULusófona professor takes a leading role in international comparative education

Lusófona University celebrates the election of António Teodoro, Full Professor of Sociology of Education, as Vice-President of the World Council of Comparative Education Societies (WCCES). The appointment recognises his significant contribution to the field of comparative education and strengthens Lusófona University's presence in the international educational landscape.
António Teodoro is also the scientific coordinator of the Interdisciplinary Research Centre for Education and Development (CeiED) at Lusófona University.
The WCCES, founded in 1970 and an official consultative partner of UNESCO since 1973, brings together societies of comparative education from around the world. The election of António Teodoro to the Council's Vice-Presidency reinforces Lusófona University's connection to this global network, promoting international cooperation and the development of new perspectives in comparative education.
