
Catholic University of Brasilia visits Lusófona University
The meeting between the institutions promoted knowledge sharing and international co-operation
03.05.24 - 11h54On April 11, the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies in Education and Development (CeiED) at Universidade Lusófona received an academic delegation from the Catholic University of Brasília (UCB). The visit was attended by professors Lúcio Costa and Renato Brito from UCB, who were received by the Vice-Rector for Internationalization, Professor Isabel Babo, and by the Vice-Director of the PhD in Education at the host institution, Professor Rosa Serradas.
The main objective of this visit was to strengthen academic ties between the institutions, promoting greater collaboration between them. During the meeting, several institutional protocols were established, as well as the exchange of knowledge and educational practices between both Portuguese-speaking nations.
In addition to the activities carried out at the CeiED facilities, visitors participated in cultural and academic life in Lisbon, including specialized workshops and visits to the City Museum, as well as a visit to the University of Seville, outside of Portuguese soil.
This initiative reinforces the commitment of Portuguese-speaking institutions to promoting excellent education, through knowledge sharing and international cooperation, boosting development and innovation in the field of education.
