ULusófona Professor Renews Role as Animal Ombudsman
With the aim of ensuring animal welfare and overseeing animal rights, acting as an intermediary between citizens and the authorities

Professor Dr Laurentina Pedroso (Director of the Integrated Master's Degree in Veterinary Medicine and of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Lusófona University) has renewed her commission to serve as Animal Ombudsman for a further period of 4 years.During this period, the Animal Ombudsman will continue to look after animal welfare and supervise the authorities.
During this period, the Animal Ombudsman will continue to look after animal welfare and oversee animal rights, with the main aim of acting as an intermediary between citizens and the authorities, promoting defence and respect.
