CMVM Prize for former student of the Degree in Economics

Another award was won by a student of ULusófona, this time from the Degree in Economics. Rui Manuel Ferreira Esteves, from the 2015/2018 class, received the National Financial Innovation Contest Award from the CMVM - which distinguishes the best academic works on financial innovation.

The work 'Financial digitalization: risk or opportunity', by Rui Ferreira Esteves, seeks, through a quantitative analysis, to assess the risks and opportunities arising from the disruption caused by financial digitization in all sectors of activity, a paradigm shift accompanied by changes in socioeconomic thinking and collaboration between economic agents.

“I would like to thank Universidade Lusófona, in particular its teaching staff and in particular Professor Ana Brasão for the training that certainly also contributed to my success” concludes Rui Esteves.
