European Student Card (ESC)
The digital ID that accompanies students across Europe
Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)
The European Student Card (ESC) is a common student identity card for higher education students in Europe. With the ESC, students on exchange programmes abroad can access the same services as local students, without having to apply for a new student card. Services range from university facilities, such as libraries and canteens, to online resources, discounts and public transport.
The Ensino Lusófona app has a major new feature in version 2.7! Students can now carry their European Student Card (ESC) directly on their mobile phone.
Whether they are going on Erasmus or staying in Portugal, this digital card is now an essential companion for all students.
The main advantages
Hassle-free mobility: For those studying abroad, identification at host institutions is now much simpler. Just show the screen!
Access to services and benefits
Even without leaving Portugal, the European identifier provides access to services, initiatives and benefits at various partner institutions across Europe.
Everything on your mobile phone
The card is 100% digital, includes the official ESC logo and a QR Code ready to be scanned anywhere.
Download the APP
