Free access to the ‘Statista’ programme for students, teachers and staff

From today, and until 01 of November 2024, all students, staff, and faculty of Lusófona University have free access to the Statista database. With over 170 industries covered in 150 countries, this is a unique opportunity to explore highly valuable data and insights through the library services.

How to Access Statista

1. Visit the Statista website while connected to the university network or VPN;
2. You do not need to create a personal account on Statista to access it;
3. Upon entering the platform, you should see a welcome message next to the Statista logo: "Welcome to the free trial of Statista! Free access for all until 01/11/24". This message confirms that you are logged into the trial account.

Make the Most of the Trial Period

This trial period was created so that you can assess the content and availability of Statista’s data for academic purposes. At the end, you will be able to decide whether continuous access, with publication rights, will be useful for you and your research, through the library services.
