Technical and professional skills that I will acquire
The study plan presented, conducive to licentiate a degree (1st cycle) in Business Management, integrated with the Master (2nd cycle) was designed and structured to fully meet the objectives set out in the framework of the Bologna Process in what regards the acquisition of knowledge, skills and know-how established for this academic degree. Thus, the study plan presented is able to endow the students with knowledge and an understanding ability in their graduation area. This training is developed from the knowledge that the students acquired in high school however, it is broadened through the contents, information sources and methodologies of a more advanced teaching spectre, thus enabling them to develop competent professional work in their respective vocational areas, by systematizing and solving problems; as well as successfully passing to more advanced study levels, such as the 2nd and 3rd cycles. The study plan also elected as essential purposes the development of the following capabilities and skills, by the students: autonomy in acquiring knowledge and skills; ability to critically review and justify ways of thinking; autonomy of thought based on scientific, ethical and socially justifiable elements; collection, selection, interpretation and use of information; ability to formulate and solve problems in a technically and scientifically structured manner; ability to present and communicate information, ideas, problems and solutions to the publics they are addressing both in the oral and written form, as well as through the use of advanced technological equipment, and always in a calibrated manner, taking into account the diverse training and public interests of the recipients; permanent intellectual curiosity.
