Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)
The conference "Healing Nature - Transforming Healthcare Spaces through Art and Technology" took place on 17 July at Dona Estefânia Hospital in Lisbon, bringing together participants from Portugal, Croatia and Bulgaria to present the results of the final phase of the Healing Nature project.
The initiative included the participation of Universidade Lusófona, through its Lisbon University Centre, and also involved FilmEU, HEI-Lab and CICANT.
The Healing Nature project brought together an innovative combination of art, animation and augmented reality in hospital environments across the three participating countries. Throughout the final stage of the project, murals, animations, augmented reality content, educational workshops and research tools were developed, creating a new hospital experience for children, parents and healthcare professionals.
The event concluded with a roundtable discussion on the future of art, technology and innovation in healthcare, followed by the presentation of the project's outcomes, key learnings and future opportunities.
