III Bio.Natural 2023

The III Bio.Natural 2023 - Bioactive Natural Products Research Conference, was a forum for researchers who are in the process of developing projects by exploring the multiple applications offered by natural products and took place between July 13 and 14.

These compounds are being screened as new "drug leads" in drug discovery, or being modified by rational design and semi-synthesis to offer novel, therapeutic alternatives for the treatment of cancer, infectious diseases or other health problems.

There are also other studies, mentioned at the Bioactive Natural Products Research Meeting, focused on the potential of marine, herbal or mineral materials as bioactive agents for cosmetics or medical devices, for example, and the proven nutrient benefits of ingredients of natural origin call for new approaches to food and dietary supplement research for human nutrition.

In view of these points, it is evident the importance of the debate and, especially, the meeting of relevant people at national and international level to realize it.
