Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)
André Sousa, visual artist, took part in the 4th edition of the Great Artists on Campus series at Lusófona University. His session, held last Tuesday, 7 October, offered a reflection on the multiple forms of artistic language, challenging boundaries between painting, sculpture, and conceptual thought.
With extensive experience in the visual arts, André Sousa moves fluidly between abstraction and representation, addressing themes such as art history, mythology, and literature, while exploring how images and gestures accumulate meaning in contemporary visual culture.
The lecture invited students and lecturers to rethink the limits of the canvas and the screen, in a meeting that brought together critical thinking, artistic practice, and visual research.
