
Summer School - Comics
The Ulusófona Summer School offered its participants the opportunity to learn and improve their knowledge.
07.08.23 - 16h14The Comics Summer School aimed to teach and improve techniques related to drawing, such as color, history, character construction, among others, culminating in this way, in the creation of a comic strip.
The participants, aged between 12 and 20 years old, and for 2 weeks, developed and applied their artistic knowledge in the creation of comics.
Artistic knowledge and training were not mandatory requirements, and it was possible to participate in the summer school, even without having developed skills, always with the help of the teacher designated.
The 1ª The Summer School week took place from the 17th to the 21st of July, from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm and on the 2nd of July. week, from the 24th to the 28th of July, from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
Ricardo Figueira, professor at the Summer School – Comic Book, states the following: “It really is! to be profitable for them, but even if there was no feedback, the work afterwards speaks for itself and effectively, already. all have characters made, history made, and some of them already exist. start making the comic”.
