ULusófona lecturers publish in international book about ‘America in Crisis’
The international work explains how political leadership influences not only public policies, but also the happiness and well-being of citizens

Lecturers from the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Social Sciences, Education and Administration have published 4 chapters in the international work “America in Crisis: Presidential Power, Populism, and the Global Struggle for Truth”, organised by Abedowale Akande and published by Springer.
The work presents the interaction between national culture, political ethics, and leadership in American politics; explains how political leadership influences not only public policy but also the happiness and well-being of citizens; and offers a nuanced understanding of the American democratic process that goes beyond typical synopses and outcomes.
