
ULusófona researchers receive FCT-CEEC Individual Funding
In the 6th edition of the Stimulus Competition for Individual Scientific Employment (CEEC), 5 ULusófona researchers were awarded 6-year contracts.

It was during the Individual Scientific Employment Stimulus Competition (CEEC), promoted by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), that five researchers from Lusófona University were awarded funding for six-year researcher contracts, namely:
- Milos Stankovic, from the research unit COPELABS, received funding for an Individual CEEC as principal investigator;
- Dushantha Jayakody, also from COPELABS;
- Raquel Costa, from HEI-Lab, in the category of assistant researcher;
- André Freitas and Ana Filipa Oliveira, from CeiED and CICANT, respectively, in the category of junior researchers.
Currently, Lusófona University receives funding for 9 individual CEECs and 24 institutional CEECs, covering a broad range of scientific research areas.
