Eco-Schools Council Plants 6 Judas Trees on Campus, Emphasising the Importance of Green Spaces at the University

In June, Lusófona University marked Environment Week with a tree-planting initiative on campus. Students from the Eco-Schools Council took part in planting six Cercis siliquastrum trees, commonly known as Judas Trees. This activity aimed to raise awareness among the university community about the importance of native species diversity and the presence of green spaces on campus. The event highlighted the university's commitment to sustainability and teamwork, contributing to a greener and healthier environment for all.
