Science Manager - ULusófona CUL

We are looking for a Science Manager to support ISMAT | Instituto Superior Manuel Teixeira Gomes, and to drive innovative projects that will shape the future.

Main Responsibilities:

• Providing assistance in clarifying queries for researchers and Research Units;
• Researching and identifying national and international funding opportunities;
• Maintaining and updating the website and social media;
• Supporting the preparation of applications for funding programmes;
• Assisting in the administrative and financial management of projects;
• Liaising with international partners.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Academic Background: Master's and/or Doctorate
• Experience: Knowledge and experience of national and international funding programmes (e.g., Horizon, PRR, Erasmus+, FCT); proven practice in communication roles, preferably in the higher education or cultural sector. A track record in content creation, social media management, and event coordination.
• Skills: High motivation for teamwork, combining organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines;
• Advanced command, both oral and written, of the English language and in-depth knowledge of computer tools;
• Strong communication skills and the ability to establish collaborative links with partners;
• Experience in science management and communication.

Workplace:

Lusófona University - Lisbon University Centre and Instituto Superior Manuel Teixeira Gomes (Portimão). The selected candidate must be available to travel to ISMAT regularly.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm and from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm
