We are looking for a Science Manager to strengthen our team at UL - Porto University Centre and drive innovative projects that will shape the future.
Main Responsibilities:
- Providing support to researchers and Research Units;
- Researching and identifying national and international funding opportunities;
- Maintaining and updating the website and social media channels;
- Assisting in the preparation of funding applications;
- Supporting the administrative and financial management of projects;
- Engaging with international partners.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Academic Background: Master’s degree and/or PhD;
- Experience: Knowledge and experience in national and international funding programmes (e.g., Horizon, PRR, Erasmus+, FCT); proven experience in communication roles, preferably in the higher education or cultural sector. Track record of content creation, social media management, and event coordination;
- Skills: High motivation for teamwork, strong organisational skills, and ability to meet deadlines;
- Advanced oral and written proficiency in English and strong IT skills;
- Excellent communication skills and ability to establish collaborative relationships with partners;
- Experience in science management and communication.

Work Location:
Lusófona University, Porto University Centre. The selected candidate must be available to travel regularly to the Lisbon University Centre.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, from 09:30 to 13:00 and from 14:30 to 18:00.
