How to update the researcher profile

1. Log in to Pure's system and select “Edit profile”
2. In the “Edit” side menu, select “Metadata” and enter or update your personal data and identifiers, as this data will enable the automatic search for publications to show better results.
   
   
   
   Note:When entering your full name, put all the names in the “First name(s)” field and only the last name in the “Last name” field in order to guarantee a correct match in the automatic search for publications.
   
   
3. Enter the variants of the names you usually publish.
   
   
   
   Note:Under “Type”, do not select “Known as name”, as this will change your name in the system
   
   
4. Add or correct all your available identifiers
   
   
   
   Note:If you wish, update your profile with a photo, which will be displayed on the public portal.
   
   
5. You can update your profile with links to personal pages or social networks to complement the information presented on the Research Portal.
