Masters Education Sciences: Special Education - Cognitive and Motor Domain

You can apply for the cycle of studies leading to a master's degree: a) holders of a bachelor's degree or legal equivalent; b) holders of a foreign academic degree awarded following a 1st cycle of studies organised in accordance with the principles of the Bologna process by a State adhering to that process; c) holders of a foreign higher academic degree that is recognised as satisfying the objectives of a bachelor's degree by the statutorily competent body; d) holders of an academic, scientific or professional curriculum that is recognised by the competent statutory body of Centro Universitário Lusófona - Lisboa as attesting to their ability to complete this cycle of studies.

Working in public and private institutions, building and implementing appropriate responses to problem situations. Development projects of intervention to change attitudes or situations involving people suffering from disabilities, both cognitive and motor. Able to access the contest for a group of Special Education (910), 1 st priority, if, at the course entrance the requirements for specialized training are meet.

Access to an academic career at the level of the doctoral and postdoctoral studies.

Accreditation registration number of the Scientific and Pedagogical Council for Continuing Teacher Education: CCPFC/CFE-3868/26 (as a training course). For the purposes set forth in Article 8(1) of Decree-Law No. 22/2014, of February 11, as currently in force, this program counts toward career advancement for preschool teachers and elementary and secondary school teachers. Candidates wishing to apply for recruitment group 910 (special education: cognitive and motor domains) must, as of the date of admission to the course, meet the requirements set forth in the legal framework for specialized training, namely that they ¿be early childhood educators, elementary school teachers, or secondary school teachers who are certified and have at least five years of teaching experience,¿ pursuant to Article 4(2) of Decree-Law No. 95/97, of April 23.
