International journal invites submissions on feminist perspectives in cinema and audiovisual studies until April 2026

The call for papers is now open for the special issue Cine-Barbaras: Reclaiming Feminist Perspectives, Practices, and New Methodologies in Cinema and Audiovisual Studies of the International Journal of Film and Media Arts.
All submitted articles will undergo blind peer review. Texts selected through this evaluation process will be included in the journal’s special issue. Articles must be submitted in English and comply with the editorial guidelines available at the link below.

- Full article submission: until 15 April 2026
- Feedback: June 2026
- Final revisions: September 2026
- Publication: December 2026
