The LEAN LAB project, developed by Leroy Merlin in collaboration with Lusófona University, received an Honourable Mention at the prestigious 47th Quality Colloquium, held on 7 November. This recognition underscores the University’s commitment to providing practical and applied training, fostering the link between academia and industry to develop essential skills for today's market.
This project, which is now part of the "Lean Management and Operational Excellence" curricular unit of the Master’s in Engineering and Industrial Management, is an innovative initiative that allows students to closely explore the principles of Lean management and operational excellence.
The integration of LEAN LAB into the curriculum reflects ULusófona’s vision of providing students with an education that combines theoretical knowledge and real practice, essential to meet industrial challenges.
