Death of Dr Francisco Pinto Balsemão
Lusófona University extends its deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
22.10.25 - 11h10The Rectorate and Administration of Lusófona University and all its staff today pay tribute to the man who, over the last 60 years, has given part of himself to the country, which has recognised the importance of freedom of the press and of information that makes our community sovereign.
By awarding him an honorary doctorate, Lusófona University paid him a heartfelt tribute, making him a member of our academy and Strategic Council.
The University extends its deepest condolences to all the family and friends of Dr Francisco Pinto Balsemão at this difficult time for everyone.
