
FCT awards 10 doctoral scholarships to ULusófona students

The Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) has announced the results of the 2025 Call for PhD Research Scholarships.
In this general application stream, proposals are accepted from all scientific fields, with research projects to be carried out at scientific and academic institutions.
Among the selected candidates are 10 students from Lusófona University, whose projects will be developed across different research units and faculties of the institution:
- CICANT will host 5 PhD students;
- HEI-Lab will host 3 PhD students;
- COPELABS and TERRA.ID will each host 1 PhD student.
These research scholarships are intended to support the development of innovative doctoral projects, strengthening advanced researcher training and contributing to the reinforcement of national scientific activity.
The excellent results achieved by Lusófona University in this highly competitive call demonstrate the quality and excellence of our doctoral programmes and R&D activities.
