Lusófona University – Lisbon University Centre and IPLUSO organised, on 23 and 24 October 2025, the IV International Congress 2025 | Humanism, Human Rights and Citizenship, held at the Agostinho da Silva Auditorium.
Held biennially, the congress aimed to promote a broad reflection on the issues surrounding Humanism, Human Rights and Citizenship, focusing on the challenges, opportunities and threats of the present day. The initiative offers an interdisciplinary space encompassing areas such as political science, culture, sustainable development, gender equality, education, sport, and social and community intervention, enabling them to be discussed in depth.
Addressed to academics, researchers, educators, students and critically aware citizens, the congress provides an opportunity to share scientific knowledge, reflect on the role of full citizenship, and rethink the contemporary world in the face of the uncertainties and crises that define it.
