ULusófona films win awards at Caminhos do Cinema Português
For the second consecutive year, a film from ULusófona wins the Best National Animation Essay Award at the Caminhos do Cinema Português Festival.
26.11.25 - 11h43Clara Trevisan, with her film "Mãe da Manhã", was the winner of the award. Alumna of the Erasmus Mundus Master RE:Anima, Clara Trevisan made her final course film in Lisbon, during a particularly difficult period for her, as news reached her of the flooding of her hometown in Belo Horizonte.
The festival, through its University Jury, also awarded an honourable mention to the film "The Peel" by our alumna Nan-Tung Lin, also from the Erasmus Mundus Master RE:Anima.
"Um Adeus a Baco", by Margarida Kalinichenko and Vasco Souto was also awarded an honourable mention. This documentary, developed within the scope of the Bachelor in Cinema, portrays the story of a man who revisits his alcoholism and the struggle for sobriety, revealing the impacts on his life and on the people around him.
