On 25 May, Lusófona University organised a practical activity as part of the Spatial Planning subject and the Eco-Schools programme. The initiative included a lecture on Biodiversity and Bird Identification, followed by a field trip to the university campus for direct observation of species.
The lesson was given by ornithologist Vítor Encarnação, from the Institute for Nature Conservation and Forests (ICNF), with the support of teacher Anabela Cruces. The students had the opportunity to learn about the importance of outdoor spaces in preserving biodiversity and developed practical skills in teamwork and scientific research, helping to enrich their academic career.
