ULusófona Featured in New Map of European Universities

The Universidade Lusófona - Centro Universitário Lisboa, achieved a particularly prominent place on the Map of European Universities, as coordinator of the FilmEU Project - European Universities Alliance for Film and Media Arts 2020/2023, on the initiative of the Department of Cinema and Arts of Media (DCAM).

The fundamental role that our University has been playing enriches the sharing and exchange of knowledge and resources between partner institutions, promoting the training of future qualified professionals in the film and media industry. Having said that, it is with the greatest of pride that we make the commitment and we also take the opportunity to highlight its importance in terms of contributing to excellent national and European teaching and research.

FilmEU encompasses four prestigious partners, namely Universidade Lusófona - Department of Cinema and Media Arts at Universidade Lusófona (Lisbon, Portugal), Tallinn University - Baltic Film Media and Arts School (Tallinn, Estonia), LUCA - School of Arts (Brussels, Belgium) and finally, the IADT Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art Design and Technology (Dublin, Ireland).

The innovative project is supported by the European Union, through various project funding, such as the Erasmus+ Program, standing out as an exemplary initiative, as well as an exciting opportunity for culture lovers in these areas , providing a driving environment that promises to shape the future of the industry.
