EP87 – Student Services, Help Centre and NetPA w/ Maria Inês Barros and Rafaela Inglês
In the new episode of Direta Sem Café, the podcast highlights the SIGA – Integrated Student Management Service, whose mission is to support and accompany the academic journey of students at Lusófona University, from the moment they apply until the completion of their studies.
Maria Inês Barros and Rafaela Inglês, guests of this episode, explain how SIGA positions itself as a single point of contact, offering support with matters related to enrolments, certificates, class changes, applications, student support services, among others. The service is available both in person and online, with extended hours and various contact channels, such as email, telephone, WhatsApp and the NETPA platform.
During the conversation, the Help Centre was also highlighted — a practical and accessible tool on the university’s website, where students can find step-by-step answers to frequently asked questions, such as requests for certificates, academic changes and financial matters.
The SIGA team emphasises the importance of preparing in-person visits with clear information, having the student number at hand and consulting the Help Centre beforehand to streamline assistance.
With a service focused on proximity, efficiency and problem-solving, SIGA contributes to a more seamless and autonomous academic experience.
The episode is now available on Spotify and YouTube.
