Masters Psychology of Justice: Crime Victims

This course aims to promote the knowledge and train the skills that students need to be a psychologist in the field of Psychology of Justice, more specifically: a) In-depth knowledge of the contexts, modalities and roles of the psychologist in the field of Psychology of Justice; b) The acquisition, training and improvement of knowledge and skills of observation, assessment and psychological intervention in specific contexts and problems in this area, namely in victimization and crime; c) The development of specific skills for psychological assessment of victims and offenders in justice/forensic contexts; c) The development of skills related to critical analysis of the different models and modalities of prevention and intervention in the context of victimization, crime and risk; e) The development of research skills in this domain, namely, planning, design and implementation; f) The development of a professional identity based on ethical and deontological principles and an open and collaborative attitude towards the multidisciplinary work that guides psychological practice in this domain.
