Entrance Conditions
This study cycle accepts candidates who submit their application via the institutional entrance competition and have obtained a positive score in the following national entrance exams:
16- Mathematics
Candidates may also apply via the regimes of institution/programme transfer or via Special Application, in accordance with the legal regulations in force (holders of higher education degree, holders of a Technological Specialization Course, holders of Professional Higher Technician Course or Over 23 years of Age).
Candidates who meet the requirements defined in the International Student Statute can also apply.

Objectives
The 1st cycle in Economics Minister students knowledge and understanding capacity in their area of training, enabling them either to develop competent professional work or for successfully transitioning to the 2nd and 3rd cycles.
The objectives are: autonomy in acquiring knowledge and skills, capacity for critical analysis grounded; autonomy of thought based on scientific evidence, ethical and socially justifiable, collection, selection, interpretation and use of information, ability to formulate and solve problems in a technical manner and scientifically structured, ability to present and communicate information, ideas, problems and solutions to the public they address both in terms of orality, like writing and use of advanced technological equipment, ongoing intellectual curiosity. This general goals all seek to contribute to the fullfilment of the specific objective of training professionals in the pplied field of economics.
Knowledge, abilities and skills to be acquired
The skills developed in the 1st cycle of studies in Economics are: autonomy in the acquisition of knowledge and skills, capacity for critical analysis grounded; autonomy of thought based on evidence scientifically, ethically and socially justifiable, collection, selection, interpretation and use of information , ability to formulate and solve problems technically and scientifically structured, ability to present and communicate information, ideas, problems and solutions to the public they address both in terms of orality, like writing and use of advanced technological equipment, and always in a calibrated taking into account the diverse training and public interests of the recipient; permanent intellectual curiosity that leads them to think the training not as a process that ends with the simple purchase of an academic degree but who prolonged in time result of dynamic processes and competitive that subject and define modern societies.
For these are achieved we have a highly qualified faculty, a teaching methodology that acenta a working partnership and commitment among students and teachers both of which plays a crucial role in intercompetitive action in the acquisition of knowledge and skills. The analysis and discussion of case studies is frequent and the use of specialized software to the top is a constant.
Over the three years of undergraduate students are required to demonstrate skills acquired either through research that should develop in different disciplines or by participation in discussions both within the discipline and within the Faculty.

Periods and internship opportunities are complemented by the existing opportunity for students to attend conferences on current economic issues, as well as scientific seminars in the course of study in order to complement their training.
The curriculum includes elective courses in order to diversify the training opportunities for students and expanding their skills base.
Units are also offered extra-curricular base designed to fill gaps in students' areas of initial training (eg mathematics) or facilitate the acquisition of soft skills (eg English).
