This option is available for master’s and doctoral programmes worth 90 ECTS credits or more.
Tuition fees are calculated according to the number of ECTS credits in which you enrol.

Master's in Business Management Qualification upon completion of 120 ECTS for a Master's degree In an era marked by intense competition, accelerated change and the transition to digitalisation, companies' ability to manage and adapt is essential for their success in a globalised world. The Master's in Business Management aims to train professionals with solid management skills, capable of operating in demanding and constantly evolving contexts. The syllabus includes fundamental content such as strategy, marketing, finance, human resources and innovation, providing an integrated and critical view of organisations. The teaching approach combines theory and practice, encouraging the development of projects, the resolution of real problems and interaction with the business environment. This master's programme is aimed at recent graduates and professionals who want to deepen their knowledge and career progression, enabling them to take on management, leadership and consultancy roles in companies from different sectors. Students are also encouraged to develop skills in strategic thinking, ethics and social responsibility. On completion of the 120 ECTS, graduates obtain a Master's degree in Business Management and are prepared to respond to the demands of the labour market or to pursue advanced studies in the area of business sciences.

- Holders of a bachelor's degree or equivalent. - Holders of a higher academic degree obtained in a foreign country, following a first cycle of studies organized according to the principles of the Bologna Process by a state participating in this Process. - Holders of a higher academic degree obtained in a foreign country, recognized by the competent scientific body of CUL as satisfying the objectives of a bachelor's degree. - Individuals with an educational, scientific, or professional background recognized by the competent body of CUL as demonstrating the capacity to undertake this course of study. Candidates will be evaluated and ranked based on their academic performance, professional experience, and competency assessment, following the established practice at CUL.

Creating original and planned investigation; Dealing with new and complex problems; Developing solutions to new and complex problems; Working in multidisciplinary settings; Communicating research findings clearly and effectively; Learning throughout life independently. The 2nd cycle of studies in Business Management was designed with the aim of developing the following general responsibilities: In-depth knowledge acquired in the 1st cycle, in particular about different schools and theories that formed the founding basis of key concepts and management tools, knowledge on different structural, functional and strategic configurations of management practices, knowledge on models, practices and intervention tools in business management, knowledge about the tools and basic methodologies of research and information processing in Management. In addition, the 2nd Studies¿ Cycle in Management has to develop an objective set of competencies in the field of know-how, which equips the future Master¿s degree with practical tools that shall enable a rapid transfer of acquired knowledge into professional practice, namely: Creating original and planned investigation; Dealing with new and complex problems; Developing solutions for new and complex problems; Working in multidisciplinary settings; Communicate research findings clearly and effectively; Learning throughout life independently. Mastering Management methodologies in national and international contexts; Mastery of tools for processing data in Management The Studies¿ Cycle also aims to equip students with a deep understanding of the key challenges facing the future of business management, as well as to provide them with a critical eye, essential for a proper adjustment of acquired knowledge and skills to the realities of each context . The operationalization of these objectives is made through: - Theoretical and practical classes; - Qualified teaching body, counting on many teachers with effectivel experience in the fields Business Management; - Gradual and sustained qualification of the existent teaching body, strengthening their pedagogical and scientific skills; - Meetings between teams of teachers, coordinated by their coordinator of each respective discipline, for analysis and piloting of pedagogical practices; - General meetings of teachers, coordinated by the Course Direction, where general policies for the scientific and educational coordination of the course are defined.

The course was created in 2006 and is the logical consequence of 1rd Cycle. Under the partnerships highlight the MBA together with Martifer and according to the Instituto da Mobilidade e dos Transportes Terrestres on the auditing of the regulation accounts accounting accruals and consulting. There are also several partnerships with Brazilian Universities. Participation in the network of companies on entrepreneurship and innovation called Dynamic Network XXI.
