The 4th edition of the Academia Maior Employability Pro took place on 27 June 2025 in Lisbon. Promoted by EVA – the Internships, Active Life and Mobility Service of Lusófona University, the event brought together higher education institutions from the Maior Employability & Alumni Consortium and representatives of partner companies.
The programme began with a welcome session and an opening forum coordinated by the consortium, followed by the presentation of EVA Service initiatives and testimonials from alumni on the challenges of transitioning to the labour market. The “Talk Alumni” session highlighted mentoring projects in collaboration with SP Televisão.
The morning concluded with two keynote talks: “From Internship to Action”, delivered by representatives of SP Televisão, and “How Higher Education Should Position Itself for Entry into the Labour Market”, led by specialists from Talent Portugal.
After lunch, participants toured the Lusófona University campus and ended the day with a joint reflection on the impact of job fairs in Portuguese universities.
The event reinforced the importance of cooperation between universities and companies in enhancing youth employability.
