The Samsara Course – An interdisciplinary, ethical and reflective approach to Teaching took place between 26 and 30 January 2026 at Lusófona University, in a hybrid format (on campus and online).
The initiative was jointly organised by CECAM, ULusófona, ISMAT, IPLUSO and ISLA Gaia, bringing together participants interested in renewing pedagogical practices.
The training sought to empower lecturers to confidently implement the Samsara pedagogical framework in teaching across different scientific fields. The course promoted innovative classes, centred on students and their specificities, through an interdisciplinary and reflective approach.
Throughout the sessions, learning based on social challenges was valued, involving participants in the development of projects that encouraged critical reflection, collaboration and educational responsibility.
The Samsara Course thus established itself as a space for sharing and innovation in higher education.
