ULusófona opens its doors to future students and families at the FCAATI Open Day

At Lusófona University - Porto University Centre, the faculties’ Open Days have already begun. On 21 March, the Open Day of the Faculty of Communication, Architecture, Arts and Information Technologies (FCAATI) took place.

The institution opened its doors to secondary school students, teachers, and parents or guardians interested in getting to know the institution and its educational offer better.

The Open Days allow visits to the campus, clarification of questions about courses and services, and provide direct contact with lecturers, with the aim of “attracting new students to Lusófona University”, as stated by Patrícia Ferreira from the Public Relations department.

During the event, visitors were able to discover the diversity of the educational offer, explore the facilities, and engage with teams from different services, such as SAS - Social Support Service, SIGA - Integrated Student Management Service, and EVA - Internships and Active Life.

To showcase the educational offer, programme directors and lecturers led sessions dedicated to the different fields of study available, in which participants were able to obtain detailed information about courses, research, and projects developed at the university and within each programme.

This was an opportunity to bring the academic community closer to prospective students, combining practical information with moments of direct interaction, thus helping young people and their families make more informed and conscious decisions about their path in higher education.
