You can now choose to study at your own pace and complete your master’s or doctoral degree on either a full-time or part-time basis.
This option is available for master’s and doctoral programmes worth 90 ECTS credits or more.
Tuition fees are calculated according to the number of ECTS credits in which you enrol.

The MSc in Forensic Psychology is aimed at training students on the scientific foundations of Forensic Psychology, as well as on the required skills to work on behalf of the Justice System. The Msc in Forensic Psychology provides the academic Knowledge to act on the following key areas: - Crime and delinquent behavior: conceptualization, prevention and treatment of offenders. - Child, youth, and adult victimization: prevention and psychological intervention with victims. - Forensic psychological assessment, including civil and criminal cases. - Expert testimony.

Applicants eligible for this study cycle in Psychology leading to the Master's degree must hold a bachelor's degree in Psychology.

- 5% - Mestrado - Entrevista - Perfil Profissional
- 40% - Mestrado - Entrevista - Perfil Científico
1. Os/as candidatos/as sem classificação numérica da habilitação anterior (mas com comprovativo de grau em Psicologia de 1º ciclo/licenciatura), são seriados de acordo com os seguintes critérios:
- 20% - Mestrado - Motivação/justificação candidatura
- 80% - Mestrado - Entrevista - CV Científico ou profiss.

- Understanding, preventing, and intervening with criminal populations. - To assess and intervene in different victimization contexts. - To conduct forensic psychological evaluations, including forensic neuropsychological testing. - To develop skills on criminal investigation (e.g., criminal profiling, lie detection). - To develop skills on expert testimony. - To develop skills on scientific research; main research lines: forensic sexology, witness testimony, delinquent behavior, personality & psychopathy.
