Basil da Cunha attends the 4th edition of Great Artists on Campus at ULusófona
Film conference marked another key session promoted by the School of Communication, Arts and Information Technologies (ECATI).

Swiss-Portuguese filmmaker Basil da Cunha was invited to the 4th edition of the *Great Artists on Campus* series, held on Wednesday, 8 October 2025. Director of award-winning films such as *A Côté* and *O Fim do Mundo*, he has been a regular presence at prestigious international festivals, including Cannes, Locarno, and São Paulo.
During the conference, Basil da Cunha shared with students and lecturers his artistic journey and creative process, which have distinguished him within the European film scene. The session offered a reflection on contemporary cinematic language, presented the guest’s ongoing projects, and reinforced Lusófona University’s commitment to promoting critical thinking, artistic creation, and innovation in cinema.
