Meeting of the IASS Master's Programme at Lusófona University

The Master's in Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Societies is part of FilmEU - European University, integrating two partner institutions, Lusófona University and Tallinn University.

During a two-day meeting, Master's students and guests gathered at Lusófona University - Porto University Centre to learn about the curricular units for the next semester, interact with professors, and discuss the main developments of the programme. The agenda also included marketing strategies, future plans, and initiatives to strengthen the educational experience of the course.

Guests from Tallinn and Tampere had the opportunity to meet with Natália Pereira - Administrator and Delegate of Lusófona University - Porto University Centre, Sandra Rocha - Director of the International Office at Lusófona, Olivia Reina - President of the Student Association, and Professor Isabel Babo - Vice-Rector for Internationalisation and Cooperation.

Representing the School of Digital Technologies, the event was attended by Merja Bauters - Programme Coordinator, Hans Põldoja - Director of Studies, Kristi Oikimus - Studies Specialist, Tatevik Meliksetyan - Marketing and Communication Specialist, and Abiodun Afolayan Ogunyemi - Researcher in Digital Transformation.

Research on Video Games

One of the main topics discussed was the preparation of an exhibition on "Accessibility in Video Games", in which students will have the opportunity to conduct research in this area. The initiative will first be presented in Tallinn in the spring, followed by Porto in the summer.

With both static and interactive elements, the exhibition aims to explore cultural differences in video game accessibility in Portugal, Estonia, and Finland.

Next Consortium Meeting

The next AISS consortium meeting will take place in Tampere - Finland in the autumn of 2025, marking the beginning of the third semester of the programme.
