Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)
On 24 October, students from the Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences, Communication and Journalism and Physical Education and Sport at Lusófona University - Lisbon University Centre took part in an inclusive judo class, organised in collaboration with Clube Judo Total and supported by the university’s Combat Sports Research Group.
Clube Judo Total promotes the practice of the sport among people with different types of disabilities but also welcomes practitioners without disabilities, fostering true total inclusion.
The initiative, part of the assessment process for students in Sports Journalism, featured decorated judokas who have competed in the Olympic Games, Paralympic Games, and World and European Championships, offering an enriching learning experience and raising awareness of inclusion in sport.
