Candidates for the Physical Education and Sport Course are required to submit a Medical Declaration proving that they meet the prerequisite of Group E - Functional and Physical Aptitude , pursuant to Annex VII of Deliberation No. 336-A/2021, of April 5 (mandatory upon registration). Admission Conditions
This study cycle accepts candidates who submit their application via the institutional entry admission and have obtained a positive score on one of the following national exams:- 02 Biologia e Geologia
or- 16 Matemática
or- 18 Português
Candidates may also apply via the regimes of institution/programme transfer or via Special Application, in accordance with the legal regulations in force (holders of higher education degree, holders of a Technological Specialization Course, holders of Professional Higher Technician Course or Over 23 years of Age). Candidates who meet the requirements defined in the International Student Statute can also apply.

Knowledge, abilities and skills to be acquired
General competences Use, properly and carefully, exercise and sports as a fundamental means of intervention; use throughout the professional activity, in an integrated manner, the knowledge of his specialty in the context of scientific, educational and learning situations; reflects and evaluates its practices, with supporting from the acquired knowledge, experience and research; adequately communicate using ICT. Acts ethically within their professional role, highlighting the sociocultural and citizenship values. Specific Skills I ¿ Physical Exercise and School Sport Dominates and interprets the National Programs of Physical Education, Controls and performs accordingly with the materials that comprise the National Programs of Physical Education; Plans and evaluates teaching and promotes learning in the context of scientific knowledge and teaching of Physical Education and School Sports, promotes the process of education in physical fitness and better motor skills; Use proper and adequate information languages and techniques for various situations; knows and controls the assessment as a regulatory element and promoter of quality teaching and learning. II ¿ Exercise and wellness Use physical exercise as means to promote and maintain health; organizes and prescribes training programs, applying critical and appropriately in an integrated manner, knowledge of their own specialty and cross-disciplinary and interdisciplinary knowledge; plans, manages, evaluates and supervises exercise programs and better well-being; use information languages and techniques for proper and adequate communication for various situations in their career namely in the business field; Use assessment as an element to regulate and promote the quality of exercise prescription and health; directs and cooperate in the construction, development and appraisal of a club, gymnasium or other employer. III ¿ Sport Training Controls and relates the contents of Theory and Practice on their specialty in what concerns historical, technical, tactical and organizational exercise plans; organizes the training process and prescribe training programs applying critically and properly know-how of their own specialty and cross-disciplinary and interdisciplinary knowledge ; plans, manages and monitors and evaluates the process of training and competence; promotes the process of training and competition; use information languages and techniques of communication appropriate to various situations; cooperates on the production, development and evaluation of the athlete's sports club , Association or Federation
