The Biological Benefits of Centauri Honey
ULusófona lecturer supervises research into the biological properties of this Turkish honey
11.03.24 - 15h53Professor Patrícia Rijo from the Research Centre for Biosciences & Health Technologies (CBIOS), Universidade Lusófona, is supervising research into the chemical composition and biological properties of Centauri honey as part of a PhD project.
Centauri honey (Ahmet Eren Cakir), featured in The Times by Richard Askwith, reveals its remarkable medicinal properties. In 2021, Guinness World Records honoured it as the most valuable honey, originating from a mountain cave 2,500 metres above sea level in the Black Sea region.
