Bachelor Civil Protection

The degree in Civil Protection offers a broad spectrum of training with a focus on employability in all economic sectors, as well as further study at Master's level. With a duration of 3 years, the course culminates in an end-of-course assignment, where the student finds a space for specialisation and training in the knowledge acquired, as well as creativity, innovation and research. The teaching model favours student autonomy, the study of real cases, the application of knowledge and the use of modern digital technologies, preparing graduates for a challenging and multifaceted activity, where the excellence of the actors makes the difference in the greater or lesser successes in the protection and rescue of people and property.

Candidates can also enter through the system of changing institution/course pair or through a Special Competition, in accordance with the legal rules in force (holders of a higher education degree, holders of a Technological Specialisation Course, holders of a Professional Higher Technical Course or over 23 years of age). Candidates who fulfil the conditions laid down in the International Student Statute may also enter.

Anyone interested in obtaining solid, differentiated training and a university-level academic qualification in the areas of Civil Protection and Security, young people or adults, not in employment or active professionals (working and after-work hours).

- Staff of Civil Protection Agents and other public, private or associative sector organisations linked to the Protection of People and Property and the Security sector; - Municipal Civil Protection Coordinators; - Career firefighters; - Local authorities, especially planning offices of town halls, SMPCs and Local Civil Protection Units; - All fire safety companies; - Medium and large companies, their Safety departments; - Liberal professions and business start-ups.
