
FilmEU opens applications for Changemaker programme - Pitching for Change
FilmEU invites undergraduate, master's and doctoral students to submit their ideas for cinema to this year's Changemaker programme

FilmEU - European University for Cinema and Media Arts - which includes the Department of Cinema and Media Arts (DCAM) of Lusófona University, invites undergraduate, master's and doctoral students to submit their ideas for the screens in this year's Changemaker programme.
This programme seeks innovative ideas that can make a difference in the world of cinema, with the 2025 theme being:
"Community – Young People Seeking Safety in an Unsafe World"
Target Audience: young people aged 15 to 25 (students of Lusófona University)
Formats: Fiction, documentary, animation or innovative short-form/social media content (maximum 6 minutes)
The selected participants will:
- Take part in online pitch training;
- Present their pitch live at the FilmEU Industry Summit, in November.
Applications open until 7 October 2025.
