This option is available for master’s and doctoral programmes worth 90 ECTS credits or more.
Tuition fees are calculated according to the number of ECTS credits in which you enrol.

The Master in Photography was designed to provide a demanding 2nd cycle training, developing technical, creative and artistic research skills in the broad field of photographic expression. Its curricular structure balances advanced practical, theoretical and artistic training and immersive moments of development in artistic residency spaces, fostering experimentation, reflection and thought. With an innovative character in the panorama of the national 2nd cycle offer, the Master in Photography is founded on a professional technological park, a faculty that combines artistic practice and academic research, and infrastructures dedicated to photographic practice.

Entry requirements and conditions
Students with a background in the areas of Photography, Visual Arts and Media Arts will be admitted to the Master in Photography course, as well as students with other backgrounds but who demonstrate relevant professional experience. In addition to the detailed CV, all applicants to the course must submit the following elements: a) Individual portfolio that allows an assessment of the candidate's artistic and professional path as well as the relevance of his/her past experience. This portfolio should preferably be submitted in digital format. b) Motivation letter.

Students who complete the Master of Photography will be equipped with a set of advanced conceptual, technical and artistic skills that will enable them to establish links between visuality and thought, enabling research in the broad field of Media Arts and Visual Arts, allowing the development of authorial and academic work in the field of photographic expression. Students will be equipped with a set of skills that will allow them to think Photography in an integrated way as a technique, artistic expression and visual culture, enabling its use at a professional and academic level.

Observations
Observations
The Master in Photography includes two moments of artistic residency in the 1st year, one in the 1st semester and another in the 2nd semester, of approximately one week. These residencies are compulsory and are included in the tuition fee.
